Overdrive is fine but you prolly wont get to 4th either way. I dont see much of an advantage manually upshifting. Good Luck!

get it programmed for better shift points. overdrive is more powerful at the bottom definently i think. you could also look into getting a shift kit. manually shifting hurts your tranny i think.

other than that, when the light goes green, and the other guy is spinning his tires, that means its time to go, but of course you wont spin, because you'll be crossing the finish line

From what I understand manually shifting it burns the clutches due to low line pressure. Leave it in drive and go.

if i were you id put in an aggresive cam, stage 3 heads, stroke it to 383, rebuild the tranny, get a Moser 9", drag slicks, then i think youd be ok to race

i have an auto but i totally disagree there. unless you have a badass auto you will get killed by a manual. they are like .6 faster in the 0-60 arent they?

The M6 is only faster bone stock cause they come with a bigger(numerically) rear gear but autos launch way better.

no they are not .6 faster 0-60.Do you have any idea how much of a difference .6 of a second in 0-60mph is?Thats just huge
