if you have a car lift you can have it out the bottom in an hour if you know what you are doing and save your back from bending over the car.

if you drop everything out the bottom, do you have to have an alignment done after you get it back together??? i hate driving to the shop with the tires squealing the whole way. i did it when i lowered my s-10. kinda imbarrasing driving 15mph like that.

It will not effect the alignment.

We pulled it out the top, unbolt everything from the front of the engine, + radiator etc, unbolt tranny and drive shaft, slide tranny back a touch, pull motor out top front of motor facing in its normal direction. Pretty sure thats how we did it, been about 4 months ago.
