Best way to load suspension with car in the air?

OK, I know I need the suspension loaded when I torque the bolts for LCAs so I don't preload the bushings. What is the best way to load the suspension while the car is up on jackstands? I know ramps would probably work, but I don't have those. Jack up the diff? Or some other way?

Jack under the diff would work, but not the safest bet (keep the jackstands in place just in case...). Preferably drop the rear wheels down on some 2x4's or something else that'll hold the car.

In the past, I just put the jack stands under the axle tubes. Seems to hold it pretty well.

Good point, I guess my brain went dead on that option
