Use Taylor Wirse and NGK plugs.

Also try a search, this is a popular topic

Stock wires are good and cheap. I use 'em. Just replace them yearly when you do the plugs. Better a new set of OEM wires than an old set of aftermarket.

I am using the MSD 8.5mm Super Wire set and NGK TR55VX Plugs. I wouldn't turn down Taylor wires though.

MSD 8.5s here with AC Delco's, Both Taylor and MSD are good. Accel also has something new out that's pretty good from the readup on it, go to your local O'Rielly if you have them.

I think MSD and Accell make the best ones. However, for simple wires you do not need the best. Taylor's are the cheapest wires by far. I'm running Taylor 8mm in the stock location and they work perfectly. Brent Franker (blown 383) also uses them, along with a number of other people.

Does anybody have a link to a place i could buy MSD, or Accel wires..i wanted to check out there price.

As for the plugs...i saw some plugs at thunder racing for 2 dollars a plug...the dealership wants to charge me 9 bucks per plug for ac delco's. Am i mistaken or arent the EGK plugs better than AC Delco?

I'm running Autolite 103's with Accel Extreme 9000 wires. The wires have been on the car for over 2 years without a problem.

Let your computer do the walking. I have had good luck with Summit Racing Equipment www.summitracing.com or as badblackz said, www.jegs.com.

I like the Taylor wires alot, WS6, how in the heck did you run those wires in the stock location? I have put these wires on twice. Put a set on last night actually, I ran the OVC with looms and looks bad ***. I tried running them in the factory spot but the wires were to fat to fit in the stock locations especially behind the power steering pump, maybe I didn't try hard enough. The first car I put NGK plugs in, thats what the guy wanted and seem to run fine. This time I put AC platinums in it, and yes they are about 9 bucks a pop. Best of luck to you.
