Gains from 1.6 rr and headers
I am buying BBK headers and thinking of a cam by the end of summer...but how much would i be spending if i just got 1.6 rr
also how much of an increase will theys give me..
i know the Hot Cam come with they right? but i want a bigger cam than that so i dont want to go that way..
what is the power diff in a hot cam and some really big cam like xe cc 306 (think thats right

I think full roller RR's are around 270-290 for a complete set. Maybe 10 hp with the stock cam. Maybe 5-10 more on top of that with a 220+ cam. Not sure. I began thinking I was going to do the hotcam kit and shorty headers myself. Heard I could expect about 330rwhp with a pcmforless tune. I deceided on the mods in my sig though after lots of thread reading. Looking to get around 380rwhp with that setup. The hotcam kit is an awesome deal and most people run in the 12's with it.

Good question. I have a 95Z in my garage right now that I am just about done with. mods are listed below. my buddy hopes to get around 300RWHP
95Z 6speed
180 thermo, K&N CAI, Airfoil, trickflow elbow, crank underdrive pulley, LT4 springs/retainers/locks, 1.6 RR's, MAC headers, stock catback w/ flow 3inch in/out, taylor wires/AC plugs, and 4.10's going in soon, I know those wont make any difference. I think thats it.
Stock tune on the computer. which leads me to ask who burns good chips? I have access to a snap on scan tool at work so I can look at the readings and such.
