Best place to buy Opti?
Best place to buy Opti?
I need to swap out the opti on my car but the i really have no idea where to buy one beside the chevy dealership but i dont want to pay the 500 bucks they want for it.
jason cromer. i've lost his number. Let me see if i can hunt it down. Found it: 1-877-726-8295. He can get you the vented opti, vacuum line, pigtail harness and timing cover to do the swap for about $360. The opti also comes with a 12 month warranty.

A 1994 has non-vented as stock. ~$300
1995 and up are vented. ~$200
You must change out many things to swap from non-vented to vented.

Mine is a 94 so i guess i have a non-vented. Whats the difference? Is one better than the other? To avoid un-wanted problems i'll just go for the stock non-vented, unless of course the vented is WAY better?

It's not way better and not cost effective unless you are planning to do a cam change anyway, IMO.
