coat hanger

I feel like an idiot but how do the damn things come off. I depressed the retaining clip but it still won't come off

I about destroyed mine pulling them :curses: things off.

Save yourself the time and aggravation and just yank em off with some vice grips and buy new ones.

Yeah, they are tough to remove without damage. You have to pry/slide out the little retainer, then the hanger will come off.

I got mine off without a problem. Just get a really small screw driver to pop out the center.

Did you take pictures of the removal? If you did it would be nice if you made a write up about it. Maybe a moderator could make it a sticky.
