I don't really have a budget. I am just basically getting the car as a toy. I would like to be able to take my friends LS1 at an 1/8 mile track. I don't want to go too far overboard with it, because I do a lot of summer driving. So, I want something that will have good street manners as well.

If money isn't a concern, get some good stainless headers.

I think I will def. look into getting a good set of headers. I have been reading, and from posts on here, and it seems that pace setters and jet-hot's are the way to go. I don't want to spend a ton of money on kooks, to get about the same thing for a lot less. What about plugs and wires? I see a lot of people have the 8.5 msd wires, do they help out some? I will have to check the car out tomorrow when I get it home to see if it needs plugs or not.

Neither of those products is stainless, and will eventually rust, probably sooner rather than later. If that's a concern for you, get some stainless headers.

MSD and Taylor wires are pretty good, get some ngk tr55s too
you could also get some diff gears ( 3:73, 3:89, 4:10s ) that would help out quite a bit.

First things first, ditch the flowmaster, I did for a hooker aerochamber and am very happy.

Than I would do:
Pcm tune, Koni's 4/4's, sfc's.

My understanding is that ceramic coatings only delay rusting, and in most cases not for very long. Perhaps Jet Hot's coating might delay the inevitable a bit longer than the coating offered by Pacesetter, but if rust is a concern, stainless is the only true alternative I'm aware of. Personally, I went with stainless headers, and had them coated by Jet Hot just to get the benefit of the improved thermal characteristics offered by ceramic coating.

I also had the flowmaster on my car, then went to the SLP loudmouth and got noticable power due to how bad the flowmasters flow on F-bodies.

I dynoed my Flowmaster 80 vs open cutout (I-pipe mounted before axle), and the difference was 5hp IIRC. That is NOT a lot for a muffler on a motor in the high 400s. I think Flowmaster gets a bad rap. Butt dyno lies, sound makes your brain think you are faster when you swap a muffler.

You'll get there. I live in Alabama, ie no salt on the roads in the winter and mine started rusting within 1-2 years. Mostly on the bottom where water would splash up in the rain. Looking from the engine compartment they still look great, though the could use a little cleaning.
