Best EWP

What is a really good electric water pump for street mostly and a little strip. Brand wise what would be one of the best to go with. Also how long can i really get out of the water pump? Thanks

I have the CSR and put over 10,000m on it. Car runs at about 170 with the 160 thermostat; never over heats.

Might help if you mentioned what engine you plan to put it on.

My vote is for the Mezeire. I ordered from Summit. Required only a little trimming of the shroud, bolted right into the housing without trimming the housing. I think the HD version requires alot more trimming of the shroud. But my 11:1 383 only runs 170-180 in 90+ degree temps...

I also have the Meziere water pump. Has worked just fine for me. This is the only electric water pump I have had so I can't compare to others.

I have a Meziere HD and it fits fine. I had to trim the shroud, but did not have to trim the blades any. I have had it for about five+ years and 30+k miles with no problems.

The EWP would be going on my blown 383 lt1. I just want a good pump that is good for street use and keeps an engine cool in 90+ degrees. Thanks for the input so far. Looking like im turning towards the meziere instead of csr

I asked him for the engine type, so I would know where to move it. Now that he's told me what engine it is, I can move it. With a blower keep the mechanical pump, contrary to popular stupidity it moves more water at moderate and high rpms, at low rpms when the electric would move more water there is no load and cooling requirements are minimal.
