do you guys have any tips or things i should look out for before i start taking things apart?

MAKE CERTAIN you get the retarded fuel level float back on. Then check again like seven times to make sure. Also, make certain you disconnect the battery. I forgot to do both the first time. You will have to pull the tank again if you do not get the fuel level float back on right (basically doing 95% of the work again for no reason). Good luck.
