Battery relocation questions

do you need a sealed box still if you use an optima?
Why do people put them in the right rear, when it would seem the left rear would aid in traction by keeping that wheel from lifting?

the pass has the least traction cause the motor spins clock wise and the tq wants to bring that wheel up and force the drivers side down.

ok, I thought it was the opposite. I have seen some 9 seconds cars (like Taners) nearly lift the drivers side tire off the ground

To lift the left front tire off the ground, which a fast car on a hard
launch can do, it must be pushing down hard on the left rear tire, which gives it more traction than the right rear tire.
