I have a 97 WS6 TA M6, every morning when i go to start the car up it usually take 2 times to start, i turn the key for a little bit, then i do it again and it starts up kinda rough. When im driving the car, when i get on it the car pulls good down low but when at about 4,000 to 5,500 it acts like its getting held back. I just had a spec clutch put in so i know my clutch isnt slippin and i just had the fuel injectors checked. So i dont know whats goin on.

That sounds like a fuel pump to me. Does it start first try when it is warm?

 

Even if it starts first try when warm doesn't mean it's the fuel pump. Mine did the same thing and started nicely when warm but hesitated when cold. Turned out it was the fuel pressure regulator. It leaked gas into the vacuum line. Check the vacuum line in the FPR for gas first before you yank the fuel pump.

 

Check pressure with a test gauge.

 

Also make sure the pump is getting power.
