Back from the Track...
I need traction real bad but heres my best run...

1000.......11.192
1/4.........13.28
MPH........108.11
Any tips for launching a 6spd? I dont go to the track much but I want that 12 sec. dammit. I tried damn near everything but DRs.

Re: Back from the Track...
Tips for launching a six speed: Practice.
On a stock type clutch (stock or McLeod single disc is my experience) I would hold the motor at about 3000 RPM and feather the clutch out, and on street tires would normally pull a low 1.9X short time. This was on a stock gearing. On my VERY badly undergeared car all I could get out of it was a 2.04. This is after about a 5-7 second burnout on the street tires. Just start letting the clutch out and if it feels like the tires are going to break loose then put some pressure back on it.
