Arrow B & M or Trans Go shift kit

Hello, I was wondering what you guys think about the B&M Shift Kit for the 4L60E. Has anyone ran the B&M and if so how was its performance? Also does anyone have advise on either one, The B&M is around $40.00 and the Trans Go is Around $100.00 so the price verse performance issue comes up here. What do you guys think about the B&M Kit?? Also has anyone used that plug in performance shift add-on(shift+) that lets you change the shift with a button for performance and stock settings?? Any input is appreciated ....Thank You

I have the B&M Transpak literally two feet away from me. I'm skurred to put it in my car cuz i can't get any really solid feedback on this kit. Does anyone out there actually have experience with this kit?

The B&M hits too hard? I thought thatwas the whole point of a shift kit. The quickness of the shift is what youre looking for, or do you mean the B&M shifts hard enough to break things, if so maybe it's a good kit with a weak transmission. Also mt convertor is stock and maybe going to a 24-2800 stall soon, which wont let the trans shift as hard as a stock convertor. Does anyone have any actual experiance with the B&M or does everone like the Trans-Go because of it's reputation. Does anyone have any facts on the difference between the two? Just wondering.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from B&M. If their stuff were any good, then people who specialize in building 700R4/4L60E's (me) would be using their stuff. Go with the Trans-Go and you can work with the accumulation (adjust shift firmness on the 1-2 part throttle and WOT shifts). If you are planning on using a 9.5"or 10" torque converter, change the feed hole sizes on the vavle body plate to .096 for 2nd gear, .155 for 3rd & 4th gear. I have found this to work very well for performance and long life. There are other upgrades, but they require the transmission to be removed. If you have any questions on this, let me know?

Cool

Well I looked and asked everyone I came across and they all said to use the trans-go kit. I guess I'll take the majority vote here and use the Trans-Go. If any differs on this let me know why before thursday, thats when im planning on doing the shift kit.
Thanks for all your advise and help....

Exclamation DO NOT GET B&M or any Elec shift kit!

DOnt ever get a elec shift kit, they are junk and they are known to kill trannies cus of using fluid to make harder shift, it heats the fluid up and kills clutches....

Trans-go is the best and is a manual shift-kit and you wont reget!
