As long as you're not in CA. I still hear the occassional story of someone being able to get it done, but supposedly there was a law passed preventing them from doing it anymore.

I have a auto xray that I can scan and clear codes with, but I'm in Austin. If you can't get "The Zone" to do it and you feel like driving into Austin, shoot me an e-mail.

You are an OBD11 so you should be fine.... i tried and they said they cant scan an LT1 with OBD1, but anywho, they scan here in San Marcos and Austin so i dont see why they wouldnt in College Station.... Good luck. Thats why i bought a LT1 scanmaster...

Chris
takes quite a bit to throw an opti code. You'll notice the problem before the PCM does. A-zone has available scanning per market. If its upper class (no offense) they tend to do OBD II. If its lower to middle class they tend to do OBD I. Trust me this was confirmed for me in Texas. San Antonio Inner City (Downtown area) did OBD II. Out skirts did OBD I.

It will be free no matter what, weither they do OBD I or II. If its not then the actual guy is taking that money and putting it directly into his kid's college fund.
