maybe, check the input shaft and the driveshaft input shaft I think is a 27 spline and make sure the d/s is a 30 spline. I just almost bought a tranny from my 93. You also can use a 92 vette tranny as our parts are the same.
Try searching yahoo for the Raptor700R4

Too bad you dont live closer I'd sell ya a 93 T/A freshly performance rebuilt tranny for much less than that (but the shipping from here to cali would probably even it out).
Theres a great place in Hesperia Ca,. by the name of Bowtie overdrives. www.bowtieoverdrives.com They build them from mild to wild.

Anyone here thats put in a 700r4? I was thinking of grabbing one from pick n pull (pulling the pan and making sure it wasn't riddiculously dirty). It doesn't have to last forever, i'd be happy if I got 10K miles out of it. I just need something to last me until I can get a 6 speed swap or something nice.

I have a 4l60 out of my 93 TA that for some reason wont downshift or upshift right, but otherwise is fine. No material in the pan and the fluid never looked bad. I have the reciept for when it was rebuilt a couple years back. I'm pretty sure what happened was the TV cable got burned by the headers and that messed it up. I don't think it needs to much to be fixed and it would be a good core to use since it shouldn't need too many hard parts when rebuilt. It was upgraded last time it was rebuilt with a better servo and some other performance stuff. I am just putting in a th400 so have no use for it.

It's in the Bay Area and I'm only asking $150 for it.
