Anything else I'd need? (cam install)
I DO NOT NEED MECHANICAL PARTS. This is strictly for gaskets.
I'm getting all my gaskets for a cam install...

Other than these what will I need?
Yes, I want the thin head gasket. Anyone want my extra head gasket?
Is there a cheaper/better set? Better place to get them?

why are you pulling the heads for a cam install? as far as parts you will want to get a new timing chain, valvesprings to mach your cam and a timing cover gasket set, intake and valve cover gaskets, your waisting your money buying the complete set and not recomended to use a steel ring head gasket on an aluminum head.
Plus I'll play the screwup my heads game and do some very basic grinding.
By the way, I have:
1.6 pro mags 7/16" NSA with studs/guideplates
Patriot gold extreme springs/seats/locators/locks
LE2.2 cam
I'm going to buy an EWP and a SBC timing set
all I need is a pushrod measuring tool and some pushrods.
I've done a bit of research... I just want to find some decent gaskets for a low price...

Well you could save those gaskets you don't use for later down the road...

Yeah, I need some assy lube. I'll just get that at vatozone. The lifters I don't know how to check. And the same with the timing chain. There was work done on the motor before I bought it. They may or may not have replaced the chain and lifters. They took my 100k topend and put it on a 70k bottom end. So who knows...
How can I check them?

gasket wise..yeah it looks about it
lifters on these engine can last while since they are rollers, i'd say if you aren't experencing any ticking and oil gets through to the top of the pushrod they should be alright. Just inspect the roller and look for any wear. I'm sure someone else has better advice though
Timing chain is always a good idea with high mile engine. Good insurance

Yes I have and I disagree due to the steel wire ring vs the copper wire ring, have you ever heard of "wont brindle aluminum heads"?
Check your water pump while its apart. I bought one just in case and it turned out my original was toast and missing like half the bearings.
I'd get a new timing chain too...mine was trashed at 65k.
Also if you're taking off the heads get ARP head studs.
