Anyone Have a Clue? Shoebox, Injuneer, Mindgame?
I have done number of searches with nothing.
Today, under nitrous while datalogging, I experienced some computer trouble. Car was running great and felt awesome! While using datamaster, I got a couple of Data errors, The box that goes read in the upper right hand corner. While this error was on, my car pulled a DTC code.
The code is a DTC 12.....It says NO DRP PULSES
What in the world is that?
Anyone have a clue. I looked on shoebox's page and it goes from 11 to 13 on the codes.

You must be leaving out some important information-like OBD-I conversion? Are you using the correct version of Datamaster for whatever you have?
AFAIK, we don't use DTC 12.

Dang, I was leaving that very important piece out and have not updated my sig.
Sorry Shoebox
I do have the conversion and have datamaster for obd 1. The cable was built by andrew at AKM cables.
Other codes it pulled in the same run were a coolant temp high(temp was normal) and also a fan 1 fault or something similiar to that.
Any ideas.... This is only under juice...No data errors or DTC codes when WOT without juice. Runs perfect either way also, just worried about a DRP pulse code

Still, never heard of DTC 12 for our cars. There is more than one version of Datamaster for different years of our cars, so be sure you have the correct one. I know from experience if you try to playback a log file with the wrong version, it will look like there is a lot of weird trouble.
I don't do nitrous, so I have no experience to pass on with that.

Alright, Thanks Shoebox.
I will look into that and let everyone know what turns up and the results, Just in case someone down the road has this problem
Thanks again

Why don't you ask TTS to interpret the DTC 12 for you? They might know what would cause that error. I thought the "12" was the handshake indicating that communications had been established and DTC info was being transmitted, in the older ECM's.
Fix your signature.... its obvious its not up to date. People can't even start to answer your questions correctly when you don't give them all the info. It takes about 2 minutes to update a signature.

You do realize that this post you picked up is 2 and 1/2 years old?

Like Injuneer said, 12 is the "code" that flashes with the check engine light for any OBD-I that uses this method (most older GM computer cars). 1993 f-bodies can use this method, but anything later than that does not.
Now, there is no code 12 listed or used for our cars 1994-1997, just the same as it was two years ago.

Yes a "12" Is just your cars way of sayin " why hello there, you are hooked up to my port"
on the older cars if you ground the a b then you gett a 12 before you get your codes just to show you the computer works and is going in diagnostic mode...nothing to worry about
