hey guys i'm a noob i just got a 94 z28 lt1 automatic i just put a CAI. wut times can i expect to run? and wut would be a good way to launch without messin up my trani?

 

probably 14.0 to 14.2 depends where you are

 

A cold-air intake won't make a huge improvement. You'll probably still be in the low 14s, although if you can drive well and your car is in good running order you may crack off a high 13 timeslip.

 

i have seen anywhere from 13.6-14.8 most are around 14.0 area..... good luck! aim for breaking into the 13's 13.9 etc..... o and dont expect much on ur first pass....everyone always sux their first pass lol

I have a 94 z m6 CAI and catback. I've never ran it. what do u think It'd do? about the same?

well this is my first manual. im okay at it though. If I shift it quick and fast I can keep the tires spinning in 3rd. I do realize thats like the opposite of what you want in a drag race because it seems to me like traction is a huge factor.
