Re: Anyone ever have problems with ACCEL injectors

DO NOT buy ACCEL's..I had one stick wide open on me and almost destroyed my engine. I took my fuel rail off to check them and when I would prime the FP #6 injector would shoot a steady line of fuel atleast 5ft..I'd stay away from them!

Also, I always had hard starting car with the accels..When I went with 42lb Lucas my car starts awesome now and runs alot better...

Anyone want 7 accel injectors????????

If you don't want to downsize, there are 37# Delphi's available from Racetronix, but they are $280. Thats what I plan to get for my LE2/LE1 install. I like the Delphi/Lucas injectors because they are disc style, not pintle style. Supposed to last longer, no deposits, clean shut-off, etc.

(Delphi / Lucas Fuel Injector 37lb/hr - 8 pieces @ $34.99ea = $279.92 + $15.00 S&H
Item #621037-8)

Oops, that was SSSalah with the 36's. You wouldn't need the bigger ones, 96capricemgr. Sorry.
