Re: Anybody heard of this?
Just in case anyone is considering this package for an LT1, be advised that the statement: "Lifters have proper crown on bottom of lifter face and proper preload of .004-.006 @ operating temperature..." is a reference to a flat hydraulic tappet configuration. Not really optimum for a roller cam LT1 application.

It does appear that the package on ebay is for a Gen 1 SBC, not an LT1. That would seem to indicate the cam nose may not match the LT1 requirements, although that can be corrected.
Re: Anybody heard of this?
Erson does grind LT1 camshafts, they actually used to be highly coveted, but they were only done on a custom case by case basis. I'm yet to find a standard line up of LT1 grinds from them, that, combined with a lack of supporting information [lobe catalog/adv numbers, ICL, etc] and a poor website, keeps me from considering anything from them. I suggest staying away from Erson for LT1 stuff.
Comp Cams has some decent shelf grinds but I'd point toward Lunati for the best LT1 shelf grinds to date, more specifically the Voodoo line. If you want the most out of a camshaft you need to look custom like Lloyd Elliott, Advanced Inductions, Bullet, etc. But be prepared to supply them with all the information about your setup. Static compression, gearing, weight, head info, quench, stall speed, everything.
No offense shaun, but you need to consider doing more reading and less posting until your closer to knowing what your wanting, needing, and capable of.
