Anybody ever switch from 93 wiring harness to 94-95

Got a 93 z that sat for a while, and mice chewed up the wiring harness for the engine itself. Was wondering how hard it would be to switch from a 93 to a 94-95 style. Other than parts, what else is involved? I would think it would just be plug and play. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Andy

I don't know if its possible, because the 93 used a ECM that was different than the 94-95 PCM. Not too sure if that would be possible at all.

There will be some minor differences. I couldn't tell you what they all were without consulting wiring diagrams for both. The biggest thing I can think of would be the batch fire injectors of the 93 vs. sequential for 94 and later. That may cause you to have to do some modification of a 94+ harness. Maybe you would like to consider swapping the computer at the same time. There would probably be less wiring changes to make and you would get a more easily programmable computer.

[edit] oh yeah, I wasn't even thinking...the 93 computer is totally different and you would not even be able to connect a 94+ harness to it.

Yah I plan on swapping computers along with the addition of a mass airflow sensor, and whatever else I may need.
