I just received a 1LE intake elbow as a Christmas gift and I was just wondering if there are any benefits or gains as compared to the stock elbow that has that donkey ******* on it. BTW, is the donkey ******* on the stock elbow the air silencer? Thanks for any input.

None. Not worth getting unless your stocker is ripped or you're doing an electric water pump install.

 

the "donkey shlong" is an air silencer.
there is no performance gain, just looks a little better.
