Smile Another question about pulling/installing the heads..

The ARP bolts say to use thread lock on them. Should I install them when the threadlock is wet yet or should this be put on ahead of time and allowed to dry before installing. Also, should I use thread lock on the intake?

Cool

It's not thread lock, but Teflon Thread SEALANT you want. The best would be to use ARP's sealant. According to ARP, their sealant will never dry. That's good, because they recommend retorquing all the head bolts after the first heat cycle.

Mikey97Z is right. And yes, you'll want to use thread sealant on the intake bolts as well. Good luck!

I've seen a lot of guys ruin their motors with the reg loctite.

Definately use thread SEALER/SEALENT.
