another question

I thought I was done with the hard part in putting theses Pacesetter long tubes on. So the last thing I go to do was put the stearing back together and the wheel wont turn completely it will turn but its real tough. This sucks I want to know how you guys deal with this problem its there anyway to bend the header while its still on the car or do I have to take it back off. If the only way is to do it while its off how should I bend it.

Thanks for all the help so far.

Use a pair of channel locks to squeeze the tube in question enough to clear the shaft and move the steering shaft if need be in order to do it.

And no more TTT

ttt = To the Top

Is the shaft hitting the header, or does there just feel like there is resistance while turning? If the shaft is rubbing against the header, it might just be the bolt. I was able to shave the head of the steering shaft bolt down a little to get the clearance I needed.
If you just feel resistance while turning, it could be the clockspring in the column. When the shaft was off did you make sure the wheel wasn't spun?
