well i was not aware of having 200k miles, the guy i bought the car from failed to mention the speedo was disconnected for 2 years, so i assume it was that high it has 168k miles on the odometer... so i dont know

Bottom end holding up...align hone the mains/cam journals, bore/hone with deck plate, clear oil passages, clean/degrease before/after work.

If the shop does all that youll have no problem, if you want to overkill it get some splayed 4bolt caps put in, or try to find a block out of a vette with 4bolt straigt caps.

from the looks of it, it looks like the rod went straight thru it... DAMN

I was thinking more like the Piston and the rod went through it, it happened on a 6000+ rpm blast so one little thing broke and just tore everything up with it, I was pissed off, but sorta excited because I already knew I was getting to build a stroker.
