I quit using FRAM & now use AC due to convenience. Never had a problem with these & they can be bought almost everywhere. The WIX is available at many NAPA stores. Do an internet search on oil filter reports. Hope this helps.
I just used a wix on my last oil change and gained 5lbs of oil pressure [pretty much throughout the entire rpm range] over the fram that was in there before. it might be psychological, but it seemed like the engine felt tighter/newer after the switch. I cross referenced a delco PF1218 (i think thats what it was) and the filter cost me 6.50 with tax at napa. So there you have it... i have the biggest, and best rated filter availible for my car at the price of a stock replacement. That was the first and last fram my car will ever see. Im using WIX from here on out.

Thanks for the replys guys.. Ill try a wix out and see what happens.. I dont mind the pressure where it is (though I believe I might have a leak in the sending unit?? I have to try and screw the parts tight into the block)..
