CC306 Cam
Stock Lifters
Stock Pushrods (i was told 95's are hardened)
Comp 987's (good or bad idea)

And stock rockers until i get the money for good ones (what do you suggest)

Depending on what you're doing with the car, depends on which parts you will need.

Okay heres my Opinion...

CC306- Nice cam, i had the CC305 and loved it, BUT in order to get everything outta that bad boy and make it worth your troubles, get the heads and intake worked!!!!!!!!!!!!(along with a comp. tune)other wise your pissin away ponies!

Stock lifters- I went to AZ ( i worked there at the time) and bout 16 new lifters (stock) for my car and didn't have any issues with them, not so sure if i'd do the same now that im older and more mature, i mean figure ur gunna spend like say $130 on stockers why not pay a little bit more for a better more suitable and durable performance lifter?!?!? Makes sense to me...

Stock pushrods- Again like with the lifters I REUSED my original ones and you know what, didn't have a prob with them at all, but again, now days i'd just fork over the extra $$ for piece of mind and durability...

Comp 987s- Can't say i've ever heard anything bad about them, i went to Combo motorsports and got a spring/retainer/lock kit (good up to .600 lift) for $99 and thought i was a wise investment, but im sure the 987s are just as good!

Stock timing chain- GLAD we caught u before u did anything (no offense at all) NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER REUSE a timing chain, sprokets/gears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They stretch over time, strees, weather change (temp) and play to crucial and critical of a role in your engine to NOT replace!! I myself bought brand new STOCK timing set (cam&crank sprokets) and a chain, nowdays i would get a HD performance one, the LT4 i've heard isn't any better than the stock LT1 chain. I'd get with thunder racing, summit, jegs and others and see what each one recommends

Stock rockers- Ehh, i used the stock ones because funds began to run low (not to mention the fact that i was leaving soon to go into the USAF, so i needed to button up the project ASAP) Honestly, you can get some good 1.6RR without the Crane anaiodized gold price.(i say that cuz those were my dream RR at the time) Now though that i look back on it, i'd say get with summit, jegs and all them and see what they recommend, i garauntee they'll set u up with some Comp RRs! Which are gunna be the best, why start mixing up the valve train with all diff kinds of brands, keep it all one brand. Also if u go with 1.6RR or even 1.5 (not sure why someone would put 1.5s on...maybe emissions?? anywho) For any RR up grade you will deff. need the LT4 KM (knock module!!) With this will keep the eninge's timing in place, othere wise with the excess noise from RR, the KM will think your engines detonating. one last thing about RR and timing, if u do put RR and get a KM (which u can get urs at gmpartsdirect.com thats where i got mine from) you may also want to wrap your knock sensors with some teflon tape to desensitize it, again in theory going along with the whole detonating thing...

Stock lockers/keepers- If you go with like Combo motorsports like i did or get a spring kit, they should all come with those items, but as long as the valvetrain is solid already you could go ahead and reuse the originals...

Sorry for the long post, but i've been down this road before i know what its like to have alot of questions and such, so from someone whos been there, i hope this helps! and Good luck!!!
