Right now I'm trying to replace the spark plugs in my car and the alternator is in the way so I have to remove it before I can get to the plugs that are hidden away by my headers What I need to know is how do you loosen the belt from around the alternator to get it off, I can't seem to get mine to turn. Any help would be appreciated

 

the tensioner on the bottom of the engine. Just turn the tensioner, and release the belt
