Alternative to CC306
Alternative to CC306
I have had the car since 2005, its had a cc503 and a cc306. Car has LE1 heads and a cc306. I love the sound and the power, but for lack of a better description...I built the car in my 20's and would do things different now. haha.
Wondering what the best alternative to the cc306 could be. I don't want to lose power, would prefer to gain, but would like a little more manners.
Still on the stock bottom end

Re: Alternative to CC306
Ask Lloyd Elliott. Tell him exactly how you plan to use the car, how you want it to behave. He can match you with one of his typical “custom” cams, or spec a custom cam that exactly meets your needs.

Re: Alternative to CC306
If you're interested, I have a LE 227/235 .565/.579 110 LSA cam that I got from him early 2020. It has under 500 miles on it. I too also had a 306. This cam was night and day for my setup.
I am in the middle of a 383 forged supercharger swap and I got a custom grind from LE for my new setup, so I will not be needing this cam.
If you're interested in buying it, I'll sell it to you. It is the 3rd cam I ever had and it is by far my favorite.
