I want more power. What's a safe way?

My mods are in my sig. I want more power. I was thinking charger or heads/cam package, but heard horror stories about both. I'm just afraid to mess up my 25k mile engine. What would you guys recommenend?

Maybe you could do some suspension mods to help better use that HP.

Do a cam without heads if you are worried about problems with the heads.

just stay conservative on the cam and you should be fine, mated with good heads and you'll pick up good power.

Yep, if you are looking for more power without destruction I would stay away from FI. Engines don't seem to last long with boost unless they were purposely built for it.

I'd look into some roller rockers and a smaller camshaft, also an electric waterpump wouldn't hurt.

thanks for the ideas guys. What's a good heads/cam package that I wouldn't have to worry about destruction?

In my opinion, this is the best guy for an affordable head and cam package and his packages make serious power. Do a search on the forum for Lloyd Elliot and you'll see lots of good feedback. Click on this link http://www.eportworks.com/
