Airbag sensor comes on??

Airbag sensor comes on??

sometimes the airbag sensor comes on what the hell does it mean... when i first got it i as hoping it didnt explode while i was driving, but why does it stay on? it usually blinks 5 times when car gets started then goes off

console

ur module is bad it should blink 7 times if srs system works correctly, ok listen up where the e brake is u take the console apart in the middle where the e brake is at the module is there unplug it, get another.....

A loose connection can make the light stay on. Usually when the light is on, the system is disabled.

but its not on all the time, its usually on when i just turn it on jam it in gear and go... but when i wait a sec it'll go away

just wonderin why

Check the connectors under dash. There will be one behind the glove compartment that is all in yellow and one that is under the steering wheel dash.

Same thing happened to me and it was just a loose connector.
