There is no 110 octane unleaded fuel available (103 is the max) so you must have used leaded fuel. Possible the lead destroyed the O2 sensors, and that's why its running rich.

they sell 110 UL at some of the gas stations around here. Its racing gas. theres no need for it in a stock car... especially since its like 4 bucks a gallon

VP makes 103 octane unleaded. It's called "Motorsport 103". The motor octane is 99 and the R+M/2 is listed as 103 which implies a research octane of 107. Sunoco "GT Plus" has a motor octane of 99 and research octane of 109, so R+M/2 = 104 octane.

AFAIK these are the highest octane unleaded fuels available.

I just had an idea, it's Possible the lead destroyed the O2 sensors, and that's why its running rich. You may want to check the O2 sensors and see if they're working right.

I know what Sunoco and VP fuels make. They do not make 110-octane unleaded. A lot of people run VP fuels C-10 and assume is it 110 octane.... it isn't... its 100 octane unleaded. Sunoco advertises their GT Plus 104 as "one of the highest octane unleaded fuels available."... and it is at 104 octane. They also do not recommend it for street engines, since it is so highly oxygenated.

Your V6 runs better on 110 octane fuel? ....

You toasted the sensors with leaded fuel, IMHO.

is there a way to test your O2 sensors? My cars been running rich for quite some time, and went from about 25mph on the freeway to <20... no check engine light
