If something that simple could give 11 hp you can be sure these cars would have come with it stock.

There is a lot of false claims out there regarding HP gains on speed equipment. Some one should start a class action law suit to teach these lying SOB a lesson.

Another false claim is HP gains from "hotter"ignition & or wires, all BS !

Maybe on a 406 cube nitrus motor these claims might be vaild but on a basic stocker it's all BS.
Just my 2 cents.

I look at it this way:

You can find a used one cheap enough, so why not? It won't hurt, and it could *possibly* gain a little for you - especially if you have other mods. For $30 used, it's okay. I've spent a lot more than $30 on a lot less usefull crap.

GM High Tech mag. put a Holley airfoil on their "Grape of Wrath" LT1 project Camaro and got 5 horses on the dyno with it. I believe they work, but definitely no SOTP feel.

Magazines have been known to fudge the numbers to make a paying advertiser's products look better than they really are. I am skeptical about even a claim of a 5 hp increase from an airfoil. Like I already said, GM would have put it in there if it made a significant improvement. It's a part they could make for about a quarter apiece.

Agreed and maybe thats why we can never get a Headers review. It would step on too many people's toes. Maybe..CZ28 could do one

I would have to disagree on that statement, IMO GM took every chance it got to make it cheaper........there is a lot they could have done like that to make it better, but chose to go cheap. That's why the LS1 is better, more engeneering behind it.

Just buy it, even if it doesn't do anything it makes you think it does And that's all that counts, what you think not what others think
