does the air foil give enough power to be able to feel it?

I believe it does a lil at high rpm. It just smooths the airflow out a lil. I had one in my car for a while. Just installed a Holley 52mm throttle body. The airfoil is for sale.

No idea, I did it when i did intake......so i felt something, but was from the intake.....it's just something you do cause it's cheap and helps throttle response a little

In the Xmas JEGS cataloh, it has one in there ... Heres what it says ...

pg 186 TPI/LT1/LS1

Throttle Body Airfoils
TPIS ~ Better throttle response, an 11.8 horsepower increase and 36 more CFM. Installs in less than 10 minutes and has a lifetime guarentee. 59.99

Everyone on here says its NO gain though. So thats probly false advertising ??? Or there are other variables that they let out (Like dyno on 90* day, put in air foil, and Dyno on 40* day)

Then again, its also made to fit the TPI engines too, not just LT1's, So maybe they pick up 11.1 and LT1's get 1 or 2 ???

It is dyno proven to make Hp, some where around 11 hp. Will you feel 11 hp, my guess is no. IMO, as you put on bolt on like, cai, elbow, maf and larger tb's. you probably would see a much higher #.. just my 2 cents...

On Horsepower TV one of the guys actually installed an Airfoil in a Impala SS LT1 and there were no gains. I think the airfoil costs ~$40 so I defentely think it's a waste of money. I could spend that money of something more useful.

Airfoils are overpriced by $30-$50. No way they should cost more than $10. All the above posts are right, any claim in power gain is . Spend your money on something actually worth it.

They are worth $10-15, but no more honestly. I'm working on my own line of them as we speak. As soon as I get moved, expect some pretty interesting projects coming from Halbert Performance
