AIR fittings

I know I should have spent more time looking this up but I have been tring to find it for about 3 hours now. I just need to know what I can use to block off the AIR fittings. I heard of using oil drain plugs but what size are they? I also want to take out the EGR valve...I have stock manifolds, and I dont want to order off the internet. I have a NAPA, Pep Boys, Advance Auto, and five race shops around me. If I could have the size plugs or what to get that would be great! Thanks a lot Guys!!

They're 22mm. (M22) Napa ones are pretty expensive. I used Lee's Auto Parts instead.

Tell them you need an oil drain plug for a 1980 BMW 320i.

If nobody else carries it, here's Napa's info:

Balkamp Oil Drain Plug
7041048 $ 7.69

22mm X 1.5 Thread Size, Standard

EDIT: PEP Boys have some cheaper ones.

Actually a '96 would use a 3/4 x 26, but an 18mm will work.

That would be a 3/4 x 16.

Thats all I need to plug this AIR System up right? Is just those drain plugs....so disconnect the pump, plug whats on the manifolds. Is there anything else that needs to be plugged up before I start ripping things apart?? Thanks for the help! I'll buy both sizes and see which one fits.

Oops, I'm sorry, I just noticed you had a 96. Please ignore my post as it is good for 93 to 95 cars only.

You also have to plug at the fresh air intake,a cap, not sure of the size. 5/8 I think.

Yes. 5/8" vacuum cap over the connector on the air intake duct.
