Alright so my header install is turning into a big mess, first i take everything off my car and find out the used headers i got were the wrong one's, ok not to bad and the guy is refunding me. So my dad say's he'll order me some jet-hot coated mac's. Well i call last week and they haven't got them in (2 weeks at that time) i then sent a e-mail to Chris and the mac's are on back order and will not ship for another 2-3 weeks . This is my daily driver and it's almost been down for a full month so it can't be down any longer. I could put on the stock manifolds but i'd just hate to spend another 11 hour's putting them back on and gaining nothing. I'm kind of mad i wasen't informed they were back ordered and i wasted almost 3 weeks (this thursday will be the third week since i ordered them) and nothing is even coming now.
Is there another place i can buy coated mac's that actaully has them in stock and that i won't have to wait forever to get them.

that is their site, you can get the system from them and send it to jet hot to get coated... might be faster than waiting.

 

Problem is they are back ordered from mac that's my understanding.

 

Well i decided to call mac just to double check they didn't have any and sure enough they didn't. He told me their mid-west distributor has some but i guess that doesn't get me any closer to getting a set of coated one's.

 

Couldn't i just get them shipped from some other store straight to jet-hot?

 

I need some help on deciding what to do.

1. I could wait
2. I could buy a uncoated set and just send them to Paul berry motorsports but that would probably end up taking 2-3 weeks also.
3. I could just buy a uncoated set

I only have 7 weeks for summer and i don't want to waste half of it not having a car.
