Aftermarket Opti choices for a 93 LT1

What choices are there for a 93 non-vented Opti replacement. I have been on hold with Acell for about 40 minutes trying to find out if they make one for my year with still no luck. I really didnt want to spend 500 on the MSD. What are my other options? Anything aftermarket within reason? I am going to call Jason Cromer and see what he can do for a price shipped but I cant believe no one makes anything for these cars too.

Use only the healthy optical sensor in a stock Opti to feed the Bailey LTCC system:

Seems like a great idea but it still uses the Opti and I am not sure mine is any good. Plus buying 8 LS1 coils new wires and everything it would be a pretty expensive conversion. Would be the cats *** for turbo supercharged and nitrous with the timing control though. I just have a stock LT1 with 40,000 original miles.

My new msd opti with now 800 miles on it is working good. Granted that's not a lot of miles, but so far so good.

Have you considered swapping to the vented setup?

I considered it but after doing a search and seeing the amount of work that is involved I am not sure that is a good alternative either. The cam needs to be swapped among other things.

You could go MSD or Dynaspark and not have to go through the conversion to 95+. I dont know to much about the 92-93 Accel version though.

I called Accell direct and they say there is no version for my car. Has anyone seen one of these? I may look into Dynaspark as well. Any chance someone has a link to make it easier on me?
