Have had a set of AFR 180 heads laying around for almost a year and have decided to put them on this month but I am guessing my hotcam is not the best match for it.

Here is what the car has,
3.70 gear in a 9"
3200 vigi
355 soon to be with the AFR 180's
currently hotcam kit

Car might see a small shot from time to time. Very rare

Daily driven all year round in chicago weather. Looking for it to be driveable but not really choppy or crappy idle quality, would rather it be a 114 lsa came if possible. No real time goals, the faster the better.

How true are the AFR head numbers on their newer stuff?

Would like redline to be about 6500
