AFR 210 Heads REQ any holes to be blocked off?
I have a set of AFR 210's and it seams they put holes every where for ever thing weather it is needed or not.
I have holes for the cooling tube banjo bolts on the front of the head as well as the back.
I also have a hole for the coolant temp sensor on both heads as well.
What plugs should I buy to cap off the extra holes?

I saw a picture of a stock set of lt1 heads and noticed it had the plugs installed as well. I may have to try and get the plugs or the sizes from the dealer. No one has given me any input.
Stock heads are like this as well. You will need two block off screws for the passanger side head and one for the drivers side head. The reason why you would need two for the passanger side and not the drivers side head is because the passanger side doesnt have the coolant sensor like the drivers side.
I was always under the impression that they are :
Sender hole 3/8 x 18 NPT GM 14090911
plugs 1/4 x 18 NPT x44 [square recessed drive hole] GM 144011
I looked at the parts listings also, and it lists those p/n's for them [and gives those thread sizes, too...]
Be careful tho I'd hate to see you ruin the heads for something that stupid...
I also went in the garage to look at a set of spare heads I have..
I am pretty sure that the sender hole is correct, but the banjo hole had a rubber seal around it, so I couldn't easily check the pipe plugs that I had to try.. [too cold to linger out there today...]
In a pinch they should both be std hardware store items?
Also, they are like that, so that either head can be used on either side...
Hope this helps you..

I got the MAP bolts today at ACE. I also got the H2O pump bols that will replace the stud and bracket for the air pump. I ordered the plug from Jason Cromer at Sam Taylor Buick. He is local for me. I alsed him if he had the spec's but he didn't find anything. He was been real good about giving me help with bolt spec's if he has them. Some info is limited. THANKS James
