They are all good brands. Choose one I have the Holley and it was supposed to be preset at 43.5 psi and it wasn't. It was set to 28 psi, and I just pumped it up and it worked fine. Any of them are good.

I'm curious too. What about the Aeromotive. It offers a wider range of adjustabilty for the same price.

The Accel may just be an FPR modification kit which requires you to cut open your stock fuel pressure regulator and install the new parts to make it adjustable. It's hardly worth all the trouble it takes.

I have had 2 aeromotive ones go bad on me within 500km!! I have also read many other peoples problems with this unit!

The accel part number 74566 seem to be a complete unit not a modification kit. From what I can see any way.

Dont get AM i had one it broke in 1month. Same thimg happened to my brother. Just get a stock delco unit 59.99 the FPR is worthless due to PCM. If you set Fp to 36 it will take it back to the factory default 41.5. Dont wast more money.

Wrong....the pcm doesnt know what your fuel pressure is and an afpr can be helpful in tuning cammed and forced induction apps that have maxed out BLMs (or close to maxed) . You can adjust the pressure to bring it back in the BLM range where the pcm can effectively control A/F. You can also use it to tune WOT to some extent also as well as open loop idle. Now I do agree that an afpr is of little use on a stock or bolt on car.

I partly agree that on a stock or close to stock car a AFPR is worthles. However like said when tuning a 396 stroker supercharged Camaro like mine it is needed.

Yes the AM is junk. I have read many many things about it and how they always leak. There are also some who have had good luck with them but since I went through 2 of them within 500 mmiles I am changing brands for sure.

How is it needed i have a 500hp sc camaro also, unless your trying to max the injectors. Where is it going to help you tune. From what i understand it does not matter what you set the AFPR to the ECM will compensate. Rich uses stocker with 743rwhp.

Well you dont understand then....I never said it was needed ....I said it could be helpful in certain apps. There are ways to tune other than with an afpr....ie working with injector constants , offsets and fuel trims in the pcm tables as well as VE tables for SD mode. I also never said to use the stock injectors....upgrade if your maxing them. You have to look at each app a deside what method or combination of metheds you are going to use to tune with.

Like I said if your BLMs are out of range one way or the other you can use an afpr to bring then back in range.....or you can play with the fuel constant or a combination of both.
