Accel 300+ ignition any good?
#2
I have it on my black car, and bought it over everything else on the advice of the mechanic who did my car. He said he had actually dynoed to compare against the others, and the Accel was the most consistant and produced the best power. I can't verify this, but what I can say that is for $150 go for it. If you don't like it, you can always sell it for that and not see a loss.
It's very user friendly, and mine came with a new coil and wiring harness too. Really nicely built, easy to set the rev limiter. My only complaint is that there isn't a dual stage limiter for the box.

Jump on it for 150
thats a good price man.
I have the Crane hi6s , but I know ppl with accell on their cars and they seem to be happy.
GO buy it and like ^^^said, you can always sell it for the same price with no losses.
Cant lose man.

I used to have one on my 1997 ta .Can't really say I noticed much of anything different with it on.It also was pretty noisy making this ticking sound all the time. For cheap it might be ok though.

Mine ticked pretty loud and I just put some padding under it and the tick went away. Other than that I have had no problem.
I would like to try out the Mallory box. It has all the features that I need.
