Ac/heat/defroster problem

So before my opti and water pump replacement my air and heat would ony work when the fan switch was on the 3rd setting. Any other setting and no air would come out of the vents. I would leave it on the 3rd setting and never touch it. Now after the install i have nothing, no air no heat and no defroster. The mechanic moved the switch to the 4th setting, and no mater what setting it is on i get nothing. Any ckues how i can go about fixxing this? Also there is an on amd off burning rubber smell comin from
my engine, started after the opti and wp replacement. They also did plugs and wires and i initially wrote it off as a wire too close to the header, but couldnt find one, they all look fine. Could it have something to do with the hvac system not working?

Did you check the generic things like fuses and relays? Shoebox has a great website with diagrams of this sort of thing. Check to see if power is going where it's supposed to to find the trouble spot. Could be the switch in the dash, blower motor, or any number of things. Opti install shouldn't have anything to do with this unless something got knocked loose in the process.
