about to purchase firehawk

I am about to purchase a 95 firehawk with about 70k on it with a blown head how much would you pay for it the guy will sell it for 3k is it worth it

headgaskets are easy enough to fix, if i had an extra 3k id buy it up in a second firehawks>everything else

edit: do you mean a cracked head? i mistook that for headgasket at first.

No it is a head gasket and the car is in perfect condition. I the the water pump went out and the headgasket blew but I really like this car

yes, you should buy it. Head gasket = easy; plus it's a good opportunity to perhaps throw some headers on, or even get the bastards ported....mmmm..cheap firehawk.....

If you really like the color and everything i would jump on it, its sounds kind of funny that it only has 70k miles and has engine problems but hell, get a newer engine and clean it up and you still have a firehawk for around $8,000. sounds like the seller just wants to get rid of it. its got to be worth twice the asking since these cars are in higher demand now. yeah had a copy of NADA beside me and its worth about $8k in running condition.
