Shims and spacers......you think thats it?
Have you ever seen a shift kit? Have you ever seen one installed?
Comparing timing in the motor to line pressure in the trannny.....I think I got the point you were trying to make but still.......

The whole point here is on a stock tranny you don,t want to just up the line pressure, the stock parts don,t like it.
I wish a shift kit was just shims and spacers it would be alot easier to install.

I try to steer people away from cutting corners where it might be detrimental to thier cars health, the transmission is very touchy very expensive thing to experiment on.
Several people have had big problems upping the line pressure on a stock tranny, I have heard very few problems with a properly installed shift kit.
Do what you want, just trying to get the information out there so they know what they might be getting into.
