94 z28 o2 sensor ?
I posted this over a week ago with still no luck ! I replaced with the recommended A/C Delco afs75 and still same.
Had a service engine light that would always come on after a couple miles of driving. Obd1 Code read driver side 02 sensor. However the car always ran great for years. I finally decided to replace it and it runs terrible and trips service engine light randomly. Ironically when the light comes on, it run better. I purchased a Denso o2 which was suppose to cross ref , but I am guessing it is NOT right at all. The only Number I could read on the original
o2 is a number 327? It has hooker headers and a Borla dual exhaust and has been a strong running car since I bought it in 2009.
Since As I stated in the beginning , I replaced with A/C Delco afs75 and still same.
Do I need to reset the PCM fuse ?
I am stumped. Should I take a picture of the original 02 which is still installed on the other pipe and see if someone can identify it ?
I am not the owner that did the modifications, Headers ,Exhaust etc..
Did I need to replace both sides with the same type o2 sensor for it to function?
This is so weird since it ran great til I replaced the original o2.
Could it have been computer tuned for the specific o2 that was in it ?
Any Help or suggestion please !
Thanks

Re: 94 z28 o2 sensor ?
What was the EXACT numerical code? Not all O2 sensor codes are fixed by replacing the O2 sensor.
Yes, pull the "PCM BAT" fuse for 30 seconds to clear the code ..... AFTER you write down the exact code.

Thanx , I will get the exact code . The funny thing is that it ran great even with the previous left /Driver side 02 code. Not until I replaced 02 did it miss and sputter.. And as I said ..I have tried 2 different brand 02's.

Link to your earlier thread. Generally best to continue that thread rather than start a new one.
