94 Z runs rough under light acceleration

My 94 Z auto with 117 k miles, runs rough under light acceleration. It is worse with a load on it like going up hill. when the revs get above 3k it runs more like it should. At idle, it revs fine and sounds good. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
shawn

Could be:

* Spark plug(s)/wire(s), if you do change, don't buy CHEAP autozone wires, use MSD or equivalent! And go with the AC DELCO plugs!

* PCV valve (my car recently stalled and hesitated like crazy because of this little part, it got all gunked up)

* Fuel filter-dirty/clogged

* Restriction in Air Intake (dirty filter)--Maybe even clean your intake manifold with some Carb cleaner.

Depending on when you last had a tune up, you may just need an old fashigoned tune-up. You may suggest changing the Cap & Rotor, and ignition coils.

Cap & Rotor is a bit pricey and it takes a bit of maintenance to change, you have to remove the water pump! I went with the OEM Cap & Rotor, costed $300.00+ I think MSD may have one a lot cheaper, and it's probably better in performance.
