94 LT1 spark question

So i took my car to be tuned yesterday. For some reason the car is breaking down from the 3400- 4500 RPM range. What could cause this. a list follows of things i have replaced.

opti - http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/40010/10002/-1

coil - http://www.jegs.com/i/MSD+Ignition/121/8226/10002/-1

wires - came with the opti

Plugs - NGK TR55

ICM

Was it having the problem BEFORE you replaced all those parts? Did you buy all those parts to solve the problem. Or was it running "OK" before you replaced the parts, and only exhibits the misfires at 3,500rpm AFTER you installed all the parts?

If it only happened after the install, I'd suppect the Opti. Have you scanned it for codes?

while down there with the opti it would be a good idea to take a look at the opti harness

freds question was pretty important though, did this problem arise before or after you replaced the parts?
either way it looks like you may have gotten a bad opti, but fred is the resident expert on this subject, so answer the questions he asks you and you will be on the right track

you still did not answer the question, but it does not seem like you really wanted any help anyway

I guess we'll never know. Who cares? I really wonder why we do this. Time to move on to something else.

Sorry guys read threw it to fast and was trying to do the work to the car at the same time. The problem came after i change these parts. I was just doing a tune up and getting it ready for tune and dyno. The car ran fine, I had a MSD 6AL box on the car and it seem to applify the problem. I disconnected the msd and wired the factory ingition back on and it did better. But its still breaking down at 3400 or so. With everything being new, My assumption is the opti went bad and with msd throwing a hotter spark it just mad it that much worse. The MSD box was sent back to msd in TX and checked out the returned back to me. So it should befine I think.. Thanks for the help guys. I decide to do a cam swap again so im tearing it down for the cam new head gaskets and 1.6 rr. Along with this i will replace the opti once again...
