94 LT1 OBD I Bogging
94 LT1 OBD I Bogging
Alright first thing is first, anybody know of a cheap way to check a code on an OBD I car? Autozone only does obd II for free.
Secondly, the car runs perfectly fine for the most part, but occasionally goes through a "Stage" of dropping down to 500 rpms at a stop and trying to die I(Automatic car) and when u try to drive.. it will bog and go nowhere under WOT and suddenly kick in and go.. any idea's of what may cause the motor (I'm assuming spark related) to cut in and out like that?

Only "cheap" way to check a code is to find a used AutoXray OBD-I scanner. Next best bet would be a cable from AKM Electronics, and free software from FreeScan or TTS DataMaster. Helps to have a laptop.

You can get FreeScan from http://www.andywhittaker.com/ - click on "FreeScan" under the "ECUs" heading.
