Re: 93 lt1

Depends what you want to do with the engine. Are you interested in running a carb/distributor setup? Or do you want to return it to the stock EFI configuration?

Hopefully, when they put the undersize Gen 1 SBC 327 heads on it, they converted the water passages to match those in the Gen 2 LT1 block. Not going to be much of a performance engine with those heads. You would be way better off just getting a set of stock LT1 heads. If you are firm on running a carb, there is a dual-plane LT1 carb intake, with a hole for the distributor. The stock water pump will work fine, as long as you have an LT1 timing set for the gear drive on the stock water pump.
